Prayer is easy when answers come quickly. It's much harder when heaven seems silent. In Luke 18, Jesus tells the parable of the persistent widow to remind us to keep praying and not lose heart. God is not an unjust judge who must be persuaded to care, He is a loving Father who hears every prayer.
